On our first night in Hawaii we went to a Lu’au at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The night included dinner of traditional Hawaiian foods and a performance that showed the history of Hawaii. The food was delicious and featured things like marinated butterfish and braised Wagyu beef. And the show was great! You can never go wrong with beautiful hula dancers and a man dancing with fire!
It was also perfect for the kids – it started at 5:30 and was over by 8 (just in time for bed!), there was a kids menu, and they all thought the show was fantastic!
This was a great experience for everyone in the whole family and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Oahu.
